nice thread
.... never really been heavily invested in the scene, but there are a few musts...
Top of the list in my opinion is
The Prodigy, their best albums are definitly
"Music for the Jilted Generation" and
"The Fat of the Land". However
"Experience",
"Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" and
"Invaders Must Die" are also all great albums.
In my opinion you only really need
The Prodigy when it comes to electronic music, especially Techno/Big Beat. Their materieal is so good and diverse they should satisfy whatever "electronic-needs" you might have.
If you for some strange reason arent fullfilled after going through those albums, a few million times, then ere are some alternatives;
The Crystal Method; might not have the best albums, but do have great tracks.
The Chemical Brothers;
Exit Planet Dust and
Dig Your Own Hole are definitly the two best albums.
Fatboy Slim;
You've Come a Long Way, Baby and
Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars are the essential albums.
